This morning the last vessel in the naval fleet left the Port of New Orleans, signaling the end of Nola Navy Week 2015.\u00a0 New Orleans residents and visitors showed great pride and curiosity of the great naval ships that visited the city this past week.\u00a0 Thousands were welcomed aboard the ships, watched cooking contests and rope strength contests between the sailors.\u00a0\u00a0We wanted to share an image taken by Aggie on our staff,\u00a0of the NATCHEZ giving a \u201csteam salute\u201d to the USS Wasp as she headed downriver.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
